Janine Shore, CEO represented PSSF at the Chasing Cancer Symposium last Tuesday, held at The Washington Post headquarters, along with cancer survivors Fran Drescher and Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas. Scientists, health-care innovators, patients and policy makers discussed advances in cancer detection and treatment, and examined how the US health-care system is being shaped by a disease that touches the lives of millions, providing new insights on the host of challenges cancer presents.
